"The last digit."
Comments
This is a good project about Mersenne Primes. It is challenging but can be done by good Year 9 and Year 10 students. All Year 11 students are capable of doing the work here.
It leads on to the discovery of the largest prime number. The number here was discovered in November of 2003.
I feel it is great to have something, so easily understood as the largest prime number, to be discovered so recently.
It shows maths is still a vibrant subject !!!!
