This is a good open-ended project which takes the students by surprise the first time they read the problem. Many are not sure how to start the problem.
It is most suited for Year 10 and 11 students after they have learned about circles.
The open-ended part of the project shows students that maths isn't always as exact as they might think.
The clip occurs about halfway through the movie, just as someone is turning off the lights of a large pool hall.
To print this page point the curser on a clear space on the right hand side of the page to be printed. Now right click and the print button should appear. Activate this.
If it does not appear then move the curser to another part of the page and right click again.
